Colleges Ontario and Mitacs have announced they will collaborate on awarding up to 200 internships to college students in 2020 on applied research projects. This research will stimulate economic growth throughout the province, particularly in rural and northern communities. It will also provide new work-integrated learning opportunities to full-time college students throughout the province.

2020 Higher Education Summit
The Higher Education Summit is an annual event that explores the top issues affecting post-secondary education today. The 2020 conference will take place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
2020 Premier's Awards
The Premier’s Awards honour the important social and economic contribution that college graduates make to Ontario and throughout the world. As the culminating event of the conference, the gala will also be held at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel where the recipients of seven award categories will be announced.
