Today was a significant day for Ontario’s colleges, polytechnics and post-secondary sector.
Thank you to Minister Nolan Quinn, the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security and the Government of Ontario for the $1.7 billion investment to create 70,000 additional post-secondary seats in high-demand fields through the Priority Growth Fund.
This investment will expand opportunities for students while helping Ontario build the skilled workforce it needs. By increasing access to programs in areas such as STEM, health care, education and the skilled trades, Ontario is preparing more students for rewarding careers and helping address critical labour shortages across the province.
Minister Quinn, thank you for your continued commitment to expanding post-secondary opportunities and strengthening Ontario’s talent pipeline.
