Wildlife filmmaker Bertie Gregory to highlight local conservation efforts at 2024 Higher Education Summit

Bertie Gregory, acclaimed wildlife filmmaker, National Geographic explorer and host of Disney+’s Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, will be a featured speaker at this year’s Higher Education Summit in Toronto. Gregory, known for his compelling storytelling and groundbreaking wildlife documentaries, will present his talk, “Stop Trying to Save the World,” on Monday, Nov. 25.

In his presentation, Gregory will share a transformative approach to conservation, emphasizing the importance of local actions to drive global impact. His talk will feature captivating examples that showcase a sense of hope for our future, including the remarkable recovery of whale populations in Antarctica following the post-whaling era.

The Higher Education Summit, organized by Colleges Ontario, is a leading conference on post-secondary education. This year’s event runs from Saturday, Nov. 23, to Monday, Nov. 25, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
