Media advisory - Simu Liu to headline 2023 Higher Education Summit

(TORONTO, Nov. 26, 2023) – Marvel's first Asian superhero - Simu Liu - will be the star attraction when he appears at this year's Higher Education Summit in Toronto on Monday, Nov. 27.

Liu – who is also a bestselling author and Canadian TV star – starred in Marvel’s "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” He will take part in an onstage interview at about 1:15 p.m. with Tom Power, the host of Q on CBC Radio.

Other featured speakers at the two-day conference that starts Sunday, Nov. 26, include world-renowned physicist Brian Greene, former Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi and Toronto Star columnist Chantal Hébert.

The Higher Education Summit, run by Colleges Ontario, is one of North America’s premier conferences on post-secondary education. This year’s conference takes place at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel and is open to the media. The full agenda can be found at:
